ABOUT US
The Vancouver Wine Club was founded in 2007. Yep, we go way back. It was founded much like America, with a dissatisfaction for where we were, and an inspired hope that we could establish someplace better.
The goal of the wine club initially was to learn about wine and have a good time. However, over the course of the first year, we came to realize the joy involved in learning about wine on a fundamental level. With every answer came two new questions, and we have all individually found a love for wine and a deep-seeded interest in its history and culture. What began as a reason to drink and hangout has become a intrinsic part of our interests and lives.
With the success of our group, we feel that we are in a unique place to pass on our experiences to you. We are still relatively early in the development of our knowledge base, but we feel that we have a passion and perspective that could be an asset.
We are a small group of young professionals who would resist being called yuppies, if only we weren’t in a wine club.
The Vancouver Wine Club meets monthly and we use this site to share our discoveries and insight.
